Summer Medical Program 2019: Register by June 1st
Medical Diagnosis and Treatment (July 8-12)
Considering a career in health care? During this week-long summer program, take part in gross anatomy laboratory demonstrations, clinical skills laboratories, computerized manikin simulations, and standardized patient interactions. You’ll learn how to:
· describe the epidemiology, signs and symptoms, pathophysiology, diagnosis, and treatment of illnesses common in Hawaii;
· perform basic clinical skills such as measuring vital signs and listening to the heart and lungs with stethoscopes; and
· interview and counsel patients.
