Join the Wild Kids Adventure: Be a High School Guide and Make a Difference!

Story by Arwen Revere

Interested in exploring the outdoors, education, or even just boosting your resume? Wild Kids is currently looking for at least 5 more student counselors/guides to help with the after-school program.

What is Wild Kids?

Along with having a dedicated team of high school members, Wild Kids is also an after-school program where high school guides take younger students (K-5) on exciting hikes behind our beautiful campus. It's an opportunity to connect with nature, foster teamwork, and most importantly, make a meaningful difference in the lives of our younger Bulldogs.

Why Become a High School Guide?

  • Enhance Your Resume: Being a Wild Kids High School Guide is not just an extra fun babysitting job – it's a valuable addition to your resume. Showcase your leadership, teamwork, and outdoor skills that may impress colleges and future employers.

  • Learn Outdoorsmanship and Childcare Skills: This program is your chance to develop valuable skills in outdoorsmanship and childcare. From trailblazing to ensuring the safety and well-being of younger students, you'll gain hands-on experience that goes beyond the classroom.

  • Make a Difference: Imagine the joy and excitement on the faces of the younger students as they explore the outdoors with you. By becoming a guide, you have the power to make a positive impact on their lives, creating lasting memories and fostering a sense of community.

When and Where?

Wild Kids adventures take place every weekday after school, concluding around 5:15 PM. We need your enthusiasm and leadership, especially on Fridays, but guides are welcome to join any day that fits their schedule.
