Enchanted Forest: A Magical Day for Lower School Students

In the spirit of Halloween Wild Kids along with the help of the Freshman class once again brought magic to our Lower school students with the "Enchanted Forest" event. This bewitching extravaganza, which first began in October 2020, was initiated as a response to the challenges posed by the pandemic. When traditional trick-or-treating was halted due to COVID-19, high school students stepped in to ensure that their younger peers could still enjoy a safe and memorable Halloween experience.

This year, a group of dedicated seniors (the Wild Kids Executive Council) and the ninth-grade class, collaborated with dedicated teachers to transform the forest behind Le Jardin into a whimsical wonderland for students from Kindergarten to 5th grade. The event was a testament to the creativity and dedication of our high school community.

Enchanted Forest, held during the school day, offered an array of fun activities that transported the younger students to a magical realm. Fortune-telling booths sparked curiosity, games elicited laughter, and face painting allowed imaginations to run wild. Every corner of the forest was imbued with an aura of mystery and excitement, creating an unforgettable experience for all who attended and ran the event.

The event's success was a result of the collaborative efforts of our high school students, teachers, and the entire Le Jardin community. By fostering a sense of togetherness and creativity, the Enchanted Forest not only provided a safe Halloween celebration but also showcased the spirit of unity and compassion that defines our school.

As we reflect on this magical day, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Wild Kids Executive Council, the participating high school students, and the dedicated teachers who made this wonderful event possible. Their creativity and enthusiasm continue to inspire us, reminding us of the power of community and the joy that can be found in coming together to create something truly enchanting.
