JEWELRY MAKING

Learn a variety of jewelry making techniques and the beginning steps of creating your own handcrafted business.

With the help of local experts, students will learn to use basic jewelry tools (pliers, wire cutters) and experiment with related skills such as crochet, resin, and soldering. In addition to creating beautiful jewelry pieces, students will also learn how to professionally photograph their pieces using a light box and will have the option to use their photos to create an Etsy store. The culmination of the week will feature a gallery walk with a display of their finished items to showcase to their peers and other community members.
