TRADITIONAL TOOLS AND WEAPONCRAFT

GeT HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE WITH TRADITIONAL CRAFTING SKILLS AND LEARN FROM LOCAL EXPERTS.

In this course, we will investigate how weapons and different toolmaking technologies have shaped the course of human history. In addition, we will have an opportunity to craft our own tools using ancient techniques and processes. The week will include a visit to the Bishop Museum, guest speakers, and interactive workshops with local experts. Explore the cultural history and impact of these time-honored skills, and develop your focus, self-awareness and self-discipline along the way.
